Why Religion Pollsters Should Go to Seminary First

My latest gentle and self-effacing article in the Huffington Post is now up. My point is the religion pollsters I mention in this post have some pretty unreflective ideas of what Christians believe. My last post resulted in mass atheist conversions–although I am not sure in which direction.

Isn't “mass theological education” what Sunday school is supposed to be? Isn't this, on a practical level, the responsibility of the Sunday school teacher/church -> pastors -> seminaries -> seminary professors (for those denominations that respect seminaries)? But I guess not all seminaries hold to the ideas you mentioned, or at least don't know how to navigate the issues even-handedly.
