    Pete,

I just listened to three lectures from the 2010 Covenant Creation Conference I think you might find interesting due to their topics and the topic of your recent articles eg. Adam, Creation, Nakedness, Image of God etc… You should give them a listen. The three I am referring to are:

Lecture 2: Six Days of Creation by Norm Voss
    http://thepodcast.org/c-c-c/2010-covenant-creation-conference-lecture-01-norm-voss/

Lecture 4: The Image of God and the Nakedness of Man by Alan Bondar
    http://thepodcast.org/c-c-c/2010-covenant-creation-conference-lecture-04-alan-bondar/

Lecture 6: Adam the First Covenant Man by Jerel Kratt
    http://thepodcast.org/c-c-c/2010-covenant-creation-conference-lecture-06-jerel-kratt/

Of course I would recommend all the lectures from the conference, but these three in particular I think you would be especially interested in.

Of course the one constant in all images or “I”-dols of God is “I”, or the me of whoever creates the image.

Therefore they are all, without exception, projections of, and thus descriptions of the sinful and fallen personality and cultural conditioning of the person who creates the image.

And of course the most seductive image or idol of God is the word “God”.

Even more so, because very few people seem to understand this. The world is awash with such “I” created “GOD”-words/images/I-dols.

In Truth and Reality the world (whatever it is altogether), or “creation” is an unexplainable mystery.
