A video of me talking about Adam went up today at BioLogos. I believe my main point is that reconsidering the question of Adam is resisted on a visceral level because it may lead to looking critically at one’s own theological system–something like that.

If anything has become clear to me in recent years, it is that deep fears of being wrong about God too often drive not only “theological” debate, but how those debates are handled.
